Can Forsite’s software help take a business to the next level?
In early 2017, Grant Sewell from GNS Electrical realised that he needed to keep track on Health and Safety of his employees with real time visibility. He aimed to do this without significant costing and change to his business, as implementing new processes in an established business can be disruptive.
At this time Grant was introduced to Forsite, a mobile application that automatically detects authorized contractors arriving on-site, that allows check in’s and provides up to date hazard data about the site and the jobs they are undertaking. Grant discovered Forsite met his safety requirements, which allowed for greater transparency when his team is on site. “The important feature we found for the health and Safety of our contractors is the Check-In and Check out in real time”, says Grant. “Receiving notifications when contractors arrive and leave our sites provides greater health and safety to our contractors that we were not able to access previously”.
Contractors can also receive their tasks and hazards on site, through Forsite in real time. This saves his team time and supports their safety on site. Forsite means that Grant and his management team do not need to inspect each site each day, but can manage and practicably inspect sites periodically.
“Using Forsite makes payroll quicker, more accurate and easier through the recorded attendance data that Forsite provides. We can see when contractors have accurately arrived on site, and when they have left as it is all recorded online, in an easy to read format. The activity feed and escalations also provide real health and safety support informing us whether contractors are returning home safe from site or not” says Grant.
