Our privacy commitment

We are committed to protect our users privacy and have built Forsite with it in mind.

How Forsite uses location data

Forsite does not track your location when offsite. The system has been designed with user privacy in mind, so your location is only shared with Forsite servers if your device is within a site geofence.

All data usage

Forsite only collects the data that is required to keep users safer onsite and ensure compliance for Site Managers. Any data that is received is stored securely in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 and the European Union General Data Protection Regulations.

What the app does

Forsite enables people to complete their health and safety check in from their mobile.

The app locates users only when they arrive onsite and sends them the correct induction, hazards, tasks or notes to complete.

Any completed health and safety documents are then shared with the Site Manager, just as they would be with a paper-based compliance process.

What the app doesn’t do

Forsite does not track user location when they are away from a monitored site.

Forsite does not require or facilitate any payment for users to download and use the app.

What data is recorded
  • Your given names, contact details and date of birth.
  • Any photos you upload.
  • Site locations you visit and the time you were there.
  • Details of any health and safety documents you complete ie. permits, documents, and inductions.
What data isn’t recorded
  • Financial information of any kind.
  • Offsite user location data.
